Company History

Tempustech, Inc. was incorporated in California in 1982. In 1985, it moved its headquarters and manufacturing to its present location in Naples, Florida. Founded to develop patents on the first electronic time clocks, Tempustech brought Time Management into the 20th century. The time clock product line was expanded with the design of a time clock that incorporated an IBM PC compatible CPU board as an embedded controller. Consumer response encouraged the Company to continue the technological development of embedded PC controller cards to include a full line of CPU boards and related products.

All of Lely Tempustech's products are IBM-PC compatible. The design compatibility of passive backplane architecture eliminates the need for a specific system motherboard. This revolutionary concept allows the user to build a wide range of products around a simple source. The ease of replacement and upgrading translates to longer product life cycle, protection for the customers' hardware investment and lower service costs. The PC standard assures compatibility with thousands of off-the-shelf products for applications requiring embedded controllers or data acquisition.
