Overview

The VMAX® MIO116 is a multi-functional I/O card for
IBM PCs, IBM ATs, and compatible computers.

Features

• Four RS232 serial ports
• Two parallel ports
• A two drive IDE hard disk interface
• A two drive floppy disk interface on it.

The VMAX® MIO116 uses a standard 16 bit ISA bus interface, it will also operate on an 8 bit ISA bus interface if the IDE hard disk controller is not used. The board is XT height (4.2") so it will fit into any case. The MIO116-5V is similar to a MIO116.

The MIO116-5V has two additional features.
1) One of the serial ports can be configured as RS232, RS422 or RS485.
2) The board operates on +5V DC only (it generates its own +12V DC).
